This car was built for John Nelson of Austin, Texas. He is calling his car 'El Gallo' which means 'The Rooster'. His T-Rat is featuring some new and interesting options and improvements to the T-Rat formula. First off, is the 23 T body that is thicker, stronger, has more character, and an improved dash design. John requested a 5-point harness setup that required all hand switches to be within reach when strapped in, so we moved part of the dash panel to the transmission tunnel. We also included turn signals and a grab handle for the passenger side.
